Fence Warehouse has developed a reputation in the trade for supplying the highest quality heat treated toughened glass (tempered glass). Absolute attention to detail in production, packing and quality control mean clients can be assured of consistency of the highest quality products. All glass pool fencing panels are processed from the same float glass ensuring quality and die batch remains consistent. Double edge polishing machines give a perfect polish and blemish free edges. Our 8mm, 10mm & 12mm glass is tested and certified as complying with the requirements of Australian & New Zealand Standard 2208:1996 – Safety Glazing Material in Buildings. Toughened glass is made from annealed glass via a thermal tempering process. The glass is placed onto a roller table, taking it through a furnace that heats it above it’s annealing point of approx 700°C. The glass is then rapidly cooled with forced air drafts. Our furnace can toughen glass up to 2440mm x 3600mm. Full ERP system implemented with each sheet barcoded : records kept to show the exact time glass is processed at each step of production = industry leading manufacturing. At each stage of production (cutting, polishing, drilling, tempering and packaging) dedicated Quality Control Personnel inspect each sheet of glass. Glass identified as not conforming to the highest quality standards is set aside.
